The fees of the Interior Designers varies depending upon the services requested and the scope of the project along with several other variable factors such as weather of the area where the project is located, time required for the completion of the project, availability of respective tools and design equipment in the designated area etc.,
Interior Design Rates Per Hour
The interior designers bill as per the project, for example if the property is smaller and requires basic refurbishing the bill would be according to that, similarly if the same property requires an in-depth analysis and detailed designing including works from architectural view point and deep renovation, then the bill would have considerable changes.
Interior Design Rates Per Room
Usually the size of the room and also the capacity in which it requires work is of paramount importance. However, there are few criteria that remain largely unaffected by the size and space.
For example, if the room only requires consultation and designing ideas with drawings and such then the charges for per room are USD 400 to USD 800 (depending upon the room size. But, if the room requires the choice of furniture, fabric, materials, props, plants etc. from the designer and their reliable sources (which are quite often the best in the industry in both quality and price), then the rates go up to USD 2000 to USD 3000

Project Background
• Usually the deciding factor involves the shape and condition of the project. A very old property requires a lot more work than a property that has recently been built. The basic work is usually cut out since the beginning of the project and that is the deciding factor on which the designers usually pick their projects.
Size of the Project
• A smaller property will require a different set of skill set to design and a bigger property will require something different. Both are challenging as the target is to bring out the best and most beautiful outcome that is worthy of praises and the reputation.
Designer Experience and/or Repute
• Designers principally charge as per their reputation and the education they have garnered over their years of service. Project Location
• The location of the project is another prime factor as the availability of goods and services is always a challenge in most parts of the world. For example a 150 year old villa being refurbished as Airbnb in a remote location definitely will require a whole team to be established in the area for many months and hence the prices will be hugely impacted due to such factors.
